From the day that I called him he has given us his full support as well as his family. It was truly a blessing to find someone like them who really knows how you feel and willing to helped out all the way. The services that they gave our mom was beyond our expectations. A passing of a family member is one of the hardest emotional traumas that a family will ever experience. Trusting the last memorable moments of your dearly departed’s funeral arrangements is even more stressful.
Family friends have recommended the Zuasola Funeral Home in Bloomfield and the experience the Postadan family received was nothing less than exceptional.
I received a beautiful smile from Francis, the owner of the funeral home when he opened the door. My brother, Rey, and his wife Maria Socorro and their second son Raymond Matthieu and his wife Maryann were already there in the receiving room. I felt that Francis was sincere, very pleasant and informative about his services. I felt that, as we discussed the many options of the services that he really cares about his client. He toured us around and since he only has one main funeral room, it will be a fully attentive service. The next day we decided to go with Zuasola instead of the other funeral homes my brother inquired with.

When we arrived on the first day, the cars were valet. All the flowers that were sent were beautifully set up and Francis and his staff accommodated the family’s needs. Our father looked very natural and handsome. His Barong was done well. The casket was regal. He has his own sound system to allow the speaker to be heard well. His staff greeted our guest formally and professionally, which added that extra care that I have not experienced from other funeral homes that I have visited.

One beautiful and special thing he did was that he read each card sent by friends and family that came with the flowers and plants. Afterwards, he presented a tapestry with three images of our father. My heart suddenly was filled with such emotions that I started tearing up. Our family and friends were awed by this magnificent tapestry that truly portrayed the span of my father’s life. The second day of visitation, Francis and his staff presented themselves with the same kindness and professionalism as the 1st day and even allowed the family an extended service since guests and family were interacting.

On the final day of the service, Francis and his staff greeted the family with such Grace. They were wearing formal black and white barongs. Francis guided the whole family through the pictorials and carefully instructed our nephews as pallbearers, with respect. His professionalism, support and guidance went beyond my expectations. He truly gave my father’s last days with us, The Postadan Family, a very beautiful memorable experience that we will all remember.

This was the perhaps most difficult time that we have experienced, losing the rock of the family, my papa, in the most unexpected way. But somehow, Zuasola ease the pain by helping us out all the way. Truly the good samaritan.

Zuasola Funeral Homes provided an excellent and amazing services during a very difficult time in our lives. Initial rendition of their services was in June 2021 when my sister passed and one extended family on different occasion. Services of both were exemplified with superb services. This time is the passing of my niece Jerlyn. This is an exemplary complex situation. Francis and Jovi extended to us an extra courtesy by home service, both of them came to my house for signing and documentations. To complicate matter, Jerlyn had also lost her Phillippines Passport needed in transporting her remains to Manila and to her final destination in Legaspi City via airlines. Francis also helped with passport procurement at the Manila Embassy in New York City. For us this is an extra act of compassion and a sense of humanity.

The heartbreak of losing our loved one was compounded by the fact that she didn't pass away at home--hundreds of miles away in Virginia. This added to the pain, confusion, stress and anxiety. But Francis Zuasola and his daughter Cheska were there even until very late at night to guide us through the difficult process of arranging cremation. They clarified and simplified for us the forms and paperwork when it was a struggle to think with the death of our loved one having happened hours before, the wound still fresh; Cheska helped us with the filing of the death certificate and writing of the obituary (and picture). Finally, Francis and Chescko finalized the cremation and we were reunited with Mama a few days later. It is with deep gratitude that we recommend the Zualosa Funeral Home to the community.

Unfortunately, we have used Zuasola's Funeral Homes services twice in a three year period and in both instances they never fail us (Francis and Cheska Zuasola). They been very helpful, warm, compassionate and accommodating in dealing with the family's needs specially in this trying times. Zuasola Funeral Homes of NJ is the best funeral home to work with when a loved one expectedly or unexpectedly passes. When my grandfather passed away, they were unbelievably understanding and sensitive to all our issues, concerns, and requests. They are incredibly flexible and work very fast and efficiently. We originally wanted to bury our grandfather, however after hearing about how much more expensive it is to have a burial in the states as well as the inflexibility of the time, it was just more cost efficient and practical to send our grandfather to the Philippines. Our grandfather originally wanted to be sent there, but we thought it would be too expensive. They gave us a price and even if the cost came out to more than that, they were willing to eat that cost. They have made our entire experience one that we will never forget. I can’t believe how amazing they are and honestly I was expecting to have a miserable time because of my past experiences with other funeral homes. I will 100% recommend them to anyone that needs a funeral home service. A small family owned and family run business is the best way to go!!

Luckily, a family friend referred me to the Zuasola Funeral Homes. They were sensitive and understanding to my needs and concerns. They managed to make all the arrangements on a very short notice from the receiving of the remains to the viewing, cremation and sending of the ashes. Francis and the rest of the Zuasola family was really supportive and understanding of what I was going through with the death of my late husband Dominick D’Eredita. I was really confused and did not know what to do but they were all patient and guided me through the whole process. They did all the work and they made me and my late husband important. The wake/viewing was really solemn and very private because we had the entire place all to ourselves. The place is really clean, beautifully decorated and organized. We cannot say enough how pleased we were that everything was kept within our wishes: simplicity and genuine compassion. From pre-arrangement to the actual date of the funeral, any question or advice needed was met with an immediate response in a very kind manner. The place was very clean and beautifully decorated. It was bright inside like it was my own home. Service for my sister-in-law was perfectly delivered and organized in a timely way. I was touched by their presentation of names of wreath donors and their gift of a beautiful tapestry (canvas-like painting) with the picture of the deceased. Everything was on time such as arriving to the Church for Mass and to the cemetery. We were impressed by the attention to details by Francis and his team. I never thought I would be writing a review for a funeral home however I lost a very dear friend very sudden. Francis Zuasola and his team handled everything from the beginning to the end seamlessly. During times of grief, everything can be overwhelming. They are very experienced and knowledgeable especially when repatriating a love one back to the Philippines. The professionalism and care received was heartwarming and outstanding. Their kindness will never be forgotten. Thank you so much.

Francis and his team managed the arrangements for my friend flawlessly from Beginning to end. We didn't have to worry about a lot of things because Zuasola did everything from fetching his remains from the coroner's office, to all the paperwork (death certificate, coordination with the Philippine Consulate, insureance claims), the memorial service, coordinating with the funeral service company in Manila and most especially, repatriating the remains back to the Philippines. Trust me, this worry-free experience is exactly what you need during this difficult time.

from the moment we called for help for the passing of my beloved father during the height of the pandemic, they were there to assist our need. we didn’t even have to leave the house to do things needed for his interment. they did all the paperworks needed and it was quite a relief for us. thank you isko and jovie and all involved, for the care given to my father, Eduardo V Flores, and all those bereaved.
