Teresita Saavedra Cenit, 78 years of age from Belleville, New Jersey suddenly passed away on March 22, 2024 when a car tragically struck her while walking. Her loss is completely unexpected, and her family is profoundly saddened.
Teresita was born on January 2, 1946 to Julian Saavedra and Martina David in her beloved City of Sampaloc, Metro Manila, Philippines. She was one of the 8 children. She graduated from Mary Chiles College, Metro Manila, Philippines with Bachelors of Science in Nursing. She worked as a Restorative Technician at Paramus Veterans Memorial Home for 25 years before retiring. She was an active member of Bible Church International and a volunteer at Meals on Wheels and Table of Hope.
She was survived by her children, Prometheus and his wife, Ana Rose, Clytemnestra Fedak (William) and Agamemnon (Kat). She was deeply loved by her grandchildren Zachary and his wife, Meleeza, Joshua, Nathan, Mia, Maris, Myla, Toshiro and Tatsuhiko; and her lovely great granddaughter, Zara Marie Elyse. Her siblings Virgilio and Veronica will sorely miss her. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Antonio, Julian Jr., Danilo, Macaria, Ramon and her parents Martina and Julian Sr.
Her departure comes as a great shock and a deep wound, and it is gravely felt by her entire family and countless others who loved her deeply in her wide-network of community.
Private Visitation will be on Friday, April 12, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Zuasola Funeral Homes of New Jersey, LLC, 44 Bay Ave., Bloomfield, NJ 07003.
Memorial Service will be held at Bible Church International, 791 RT 10, Randolph, NJ 07869 on Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
