Shin Jeong Gwyneth Florentino Balino

A sweet, loving and caring daughter, Shin Jeong Gwyneth Florentino Balino gained her angel wings on Wednesday, August 17, 2023 at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. She was 16 years old.

Shin was born on September 2, 2006, in Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija, Philippines to Nixon Balino and Sherly Florentino. She was the eldest of three children; a member of Skills USA and an honor student of Newark Vocational High School.

In her short life, Shin learned a lot about important things in life. She used 10 words that describe herself, kind, artistic, caring, insecure, introvert, glasses, brown eyes, black hair, sweater and short. She describe her name as:

SHY but willing to push herself

HONEST with others

INGENIUS when putting mind to it

NOTEABLE cause there’s no one like her

She had a real love for drawing. She really enjoyed doing graphic designs regardless if it is computer or pencil. In her spare time, she loves to play Roblox and Lego with her brothers, when they are outside, they love to play soccer. Their relationship as a sibling is unbeatable and no one can replace it. She was the best friend of her 2 brothers, she’s always there for them especially when they feel down, she always helps them, she supports them in any kind of way and encourages them. Her love for her brothers is irreplaceable.

She will be sorely missed by her family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Clifton Family Church, 78 DeMott Ave., Clifton, NJ 07011.

Interment will be on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, 255 Main Ave. Clifton, NJ. All are invited to meet at the church at 9:00am.
