Romulo Dinu Postadan departed this life on Wednesday, July 26 at the age of 92. He was born on February 28, 1931 to Eugenio Postadan and Marciana Dinu in Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines. He moved to New Jersey from Florida, 2 years ago.
He was an active member of St. Mary’s Catholic of Jersey City and Knights of Columbus; A co-founder of Catholic Action of St. Mary’s and Ilo-ilo Society of America; and an ordained deacon of the Archdiocese of Newark.
Romulo worked as a Bank Auditor in Washington Savings Bank for 10 years before retiring.He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugenio Postadan and Marciana Dinu and his wife, Virginia Postadan.
Romulo was survived by his children; Reynaldo & Maria Postadan, Rolando Postadan, Velissa & Robert Nelson, Romstead & Yvette Postadan; siblings; Fred Postadan, Teresita Postadan, Melma Delos Santos and Letty Acquino; grandchildren; Ryan & Mirissa, Raymond & MaryAnn, Randy & Annely, RayMarcus, Marcus & Eric Nelson, Joshua, Jada and Jalyn Postadan; great grandchild, Rowan Matteo Postadan.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 2 and Thursday, August 3 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Zuasola Funeral Homes of New Jersey, LLC. 44 Bay Ave. Bloomfield, NJ 07003. (Additional parking located along Broughton Avenue).
Relatives and friends are invited on Friday, August 4, 2023, for a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church – 120 Prospect St. Nutley, NJ 07110.
Cremation will be held privately.
