Rogelio Tolentino Dela Cruz, 75 of East Orange, New Jersey entered into eternal life on June 27, 2023. Rogelio, or best-known Roger, to friend and family was born on December 29, 1947, in San Isidro, Nueva Ecija, Philippines to parents Lucio Dela Cruz and Flavania Tolentino.
Rogelio attended Far Eastern University in Metro Manila where he received his Bachelor's of Science in Commerce. He moved to the United States in 1996 to seek a better life and opportunity. He worked for United States Postal Service as mail sorter for 5 years. He was a parishioner of Holy Name of Jesus Church.
Rogelio is the beloved husband of Netie Villanos Dela Cruz, a loving father of Ronelyne Mak (Anthony), Rammier Dela Cruz (Joyce), a grandfather of Donovan, Julian, Raphael and Jacob. He is also survived by his siblings, Mercedes Lacanlalay and Roberto Dela Cruz. He will surely be missed by his relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 2nd from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Zuasola Funeral Homes of New Jersey, LLC 44 Bay Avenue Bloomfield, NJ 07003 (Additional parking along Broughton Avenue).
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Monday morning, July 3rd at 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home, thence to Holy Name of Jesus Chruch, 246 Dodd St. East Orange, NJ at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ
