Ramon Lavarro Cuevas

Ramon Lavarro Cuevas, 64, of Bloomingdale, New Jersey, passed away on March 6, 2022 at Chilton Medical Center. He was born to parents Paterno Cuevas and Matilde Lavarro on November 13, 1957 in Lucena City, Quezon, Philippines.

He worked at Tropical Hut Catering and Oriental Grocery as a cook for 3 years before retiring in 2015. Prior to that he was a Certified Nursing Assistant at Lincoln Park Nursing Home.

Ramon married Maydee, the love of her life, in 2012, who survives him. Ramon is also survived by his children, James Cuevas, Jeremy Chase Cuevas and Zanara Cuevas; and by his siblings, Rosemarie Solis and Reynaldo Lavarro Cuevas.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Zuasola Funeral Homes of New Jersey, 44 Bay Avenue Bloomfield, New Jersey 07003.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Saturday morning March 12, 2022 beginning at the Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 63 Franklin St., Belleville, NJ 07109.
