Nelson Peralta Vita

On Thursday, November 5, 2020, Nelson Peralta Vita was called home at the age of 76. The world has lost a great son, brother, husband, and father.

Nelson was born in Sta. Cruz, Manila, Philippines, on September 10, 1944 to the late Alfredo Vita and Maria Peralta. He relocated in the United States in 1974 from the Philippines. He was an active parishioner of Our Lady of the Valley Church, Orange NJ.

He was a Manager in Polyphase Unit at Troy Chemicals for 34 years before retiring in 2010.

Nelson was survived by his wife, Marlene, by his two sons, Jeofrey (Misty) and Jason (Anita), by his daughter, Janice (Ernesto); six grandchildren, Grace, Logan, Lily, Ernesto Nelson, Sofia and Alexia; along with his brother and sister, Renita Chua, Alfred Vita, Jr., Manuel Vita and Lorna Tan.

Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at 10:30 am St. Anthony of Padua Church, 63 Franklin St., Belleville, NJ. Cremation will be held privately with inurnment of cremated remains to take place at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington, at a later date.
