Minda Salandanan DiPaolo Obituary (1942

Minda Salandanan DiPaolo, 83, of Woodside, New York, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2025, at Mount Sinai Hospital. She was born on April 19, 1942, in Castilla, Sorsogon, Philippines, to the late Arsenio Salandanan and Martina Samaniego. Minda is survived by her loving children, Peter Arsenio S. Penarroyo and Pamela Audrey P. Reyes, and is preceded in death by her beloved children, Pauline Angelica P. Cruz and Paul Alfred S. Penarroyo. She is fondly remembered by her siblings -- Cel Escandor, Tia Dimatulac, Juliet Cabildo, and Lily Villegas -- and her treasured grandchildren: Ernest Paul Cruz, Erwin Patrick Cruz, Eunice Patricia Cruz, Derek Russel Penarroyo, Darielle Ryan Penarroyo, Ritchelle Princess Ann Prado, Peter Arsenio II Penarroyo, John Pierce Reyes, January Mindy May Reyes, and Matthew Gabriel Agustin. Her great-grandchildren, Dash Cruz and Erynn Cruz, brought her endless joy and laughter. Minda will always be remembered for her kindness, strength, and unwavering love for her family. Her faith, compassion, and generosity touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by her family and friends in both the Philippines and the United States. Memorial Service will be on Saturday, November 22, 2025, 10:00 AM at St. Sebastian Chapel, 58-02 Roosevelt Ave., Woodside, New York 11377. Inurnment will be at San Lorenzo Ruiz Parish Church, Balibago, Sta. Rosa City, Laguna, Philippines at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations toward the funeral expenses are appreciated.
