Liwayway Tuazon Caragay

The world lost a beloved mother, Liwayway Tuazon Caragay, on October 2, 2021 at the age of 88. 

Liwayway was born in Pateros, Metro Manila, Philippines on February 7, 1933 to Juliana and Leon Tuazon. She worked as a Teacher at St. George Academy for 15 years and Chase Bank as an Encoder for 17 years before retiring.

Liwayway was a mother to Marlon Tuazon & his wife Gina Redoblado Tuazon, Leon Tuazon & his partner Doreen Baldwin, Liza Cook & her husband Geoff Cook, and Raul Caragay & his wife Mimi Arias Caragay, she raised her children with love and devotion. She is a loving sister of Dalisay Tuazon, Paraluman Bonifacio, Lualhati Mercado, Ning Pascual, and Ligaya Capco; a proud grandmother of Kristofer, Alexander, Melanie, Chelsea, Samantha, Michael, Jonathan, and Ramil; and the late brothers and sisters Bayani Tuazon, Isagani Tuazon, Magtanggol Tuazon, Tagumpay Tuazon, Filipina Tuazon, and Liwanag Perez.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2021 from 6:00pm to 10:00pm at Zuasola Funeral Homes, 44 Bay Ave. Bloomfield, NJ 07003. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 10:00am at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 208 Bound Brook Ave, Piscataway, NJ. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway, NJ.
