Leonida Frani Papa, 77 of Jackson Heights, New York, passed away on April 28, 2022 at Elmhurst Hospital. She was born April 23, 1945 in Dasmarinas, Cavite, Philippines to the late Graciano Frani and Hipolita Frani.

Leonila is survived by her husband, Luzminio Papa; children, Madonna Bautista (Manolito Bautista), Dolfelio Papa (Christine Dela Rosa Papa) and Marfelia Chavez (Norvin Chavez); siblings, Nefelio Frani, Medgeli Diongson and the late Nardeo Frani and Elpidio Frani; grandchildren, Miguel Emmanuel Bautista, Marc Andrei Bautista, Mika Isabella Bautista, Carlene Papa, Chantelle Papa, Caryl Papa and Liam Ethan Chavez.

Cremation will be held privately.
