Jovita Poblete dela Paz

Jovita Poblete dela Paz who is known to many as Edith or Jovi, 83 of Elmwood Park, passed away on March 23, 2022 at St. Joseph Hospital.

She was born February 15, 1939 to parents, Inocencio Poblete and Irene Torres in Naic, Cavite, Philippines. Jovita graduated Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Sto. Tomas, Manila. She worked as a registered nurse for over 30 years before retiring.

Jovita is survived by her husband, Laddie dela Paz; children, Janice Pugeda (Ronald Pugeda), James dela Paz (Farrah dela Paz) and Jay dela Paz (Edna dela Paz); siblings, Augustina Palompo, Inocencio Poblete Jr., Arturo Poblete, Napoleon Poblete and Emmanuel Poblete; grandchildren, Kyle, Mikee, Miguel, Patricia and Jayden.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 1, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Vander Plaat Colonial Home, 13-31 Saddle River Rd, Fair Lawn, NJ, 07410.

Cremation will be held privately.
