Gorgonio Jose Gutay Aguirre, Jr.

Gorgonio Jose Gutay Aguirre Jr., 79 of Jersey City passed away on May 13, 2021 at Christ Hospital, Jersey City.

He was born on April 20, 1942 in Allen Samar, Philippines to the late Gorgonio Aguirre Sr. and Winefreda Aguirre. He worked for Drew’s Party Music for 6 years before retiring.

Gorgonio is the loving husband of Luz Alo Aguirre; a cherished father of Fernando Alo Aguirre, Suzette Alo Aguirre, Joanne Alo Aguirre, Mark Lester Meneses and Clarisse Ann Mineses Amor; a dear brother of Alfe Aguirre Masecampo, Manuel Gutay Aguirre, Valda Aguirre Bartolome, Sylva Aguirre Paderranga, Milagros Aguirre Miranda and Josefina Aguirre Uvero; a proud grandfather of Ayrisse Meneses Amor, Ayron Meneses Amor, Vanna Meneses Amor and Aya Meneses Amor.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 from 3:00 pm to 6:45 pm at St. Nicholas Church, 122 Ferry St., Jersey City, NJ, 07307. Followed by a Funeral Mass at 7:00 pm.

Cremation is private.
