Geronimo Abanes Eborlas, 84 of Belleville, New Jersey died peacefully on May 20, 2020 at Mountainside Hospital, Glen Ridge. He was born on September 30, 1935 in Cebu City, Cebu, Philippines to the late Diogracias Eborlas and Teresa Abanes.

Geronimo lived in the United State for 21 years. He was a service clerk at Stop and Shop for 10 years before retiring. He is a parishioner of St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church in Belleville.

He is predeceased by his wife, Rosario, a loving father of Asuncion, Arcele, Percival and Expedito, a kind father-in-law to Franklin Gabriel, Stella Egpit Eborlas and Cherry Crisostomo Eborlas, a dear brother of Florencia Eborlas Lam and Rosalinda Romero, a proud grandfather of Michael, Gabrielle, Angelie, Charie, Franklin, Francis, Therese, John Jerome, Honey Rose, Archie Bryan, Lyka, Stephen Lloyd, Scott Lawrence, Sebstian, and Sabrina

Due to Coronavirus pandemic and CDC guidelines, private visitation for immediate family only will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at the Zuasola-Grillo Filipino Funeral Service, 44 Bay Ave., Bloomfield, NJ 07003. Cremation is private.
