Emma Alvarado Gonzales

Emma Alvarado Gonzales, 76 of Bloomfield, New Jersey passed away on October 7, 2023 at Mountainside Hospital. She was born on September 6, 1947 in Pagsanjan, Laguna, Philippines to the late Antonio Alvarado and Teresa Adriano.

Emma moved to New Jersey 25 years ago from Norfolk, Virginia. She worked as a caregiver for 15 years before retiring. She was actively involved with Filipino Communities and Organizations in the United States.

She is the loving sister of Rosita Alvaro Vicente and Teresita Alvarado Romack. She was predeceased by her husband, Romeo  Cacanindin.

Cremation is private. Memorial Mass will be on Saturday, November 4, 2023, 11:00 am at Our of Mount Carmel Church, 120 Prospect St. Nutley, NJ 07110.
