Elsa Rivero Sarrosa

Elsa’s journey began on January 14, 1949 in Bulacan, Philippines but stopped counting years at the age of 72. She was called home, March 5, 2021. 

She was a devoted mother to Regin and Rowena and a supportive mother-in-law to Eric and Michelle.  She is surrounded by loving grandsons Rafael, Randell, Ramoncito, Francisco & Enrique who has been her source of happiness in her later years on earth. 

Elsa had a beautiful garden and found passion with her plants as well as her two dogs. She was an adventurous woman who traveled the world with her high school friends creating priceless memories. She became the “Hermana Mayor” in her town which gave her the opportunity to be involved with the town’s religious activities and pave the way for her to help others. She lived a fulfilling life and was indeed a beacon of strength.

Your life was a blessing, 

Your memory is a treasure.

You are loved beyond words

and missed beyond measure.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Zuasola Funeral Homes of New Jersey, 44 Bay Ave. Bloomfield, NJ 07003.

Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2021, 10:00 am at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 40 Sullivan Dr., Jersey City. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, 234 Paramus Rd, Paramus, NJ.
