David Roome Copp

David Roome Copp, 75 of Carteret, New Jersey, entered into eternal rest on November 26, 2020 at Rahway Hospital. Born November 16, 1945 in East Orange, New Jersey to the late Joseph and Mary (Roome) Copp.

He graduated BS Accountancy at Rutgers. He worked for more than 20 years in Access One, a software company in the Client Support Department, 2 years in Levin Management before retiring.
He loves to travel and take cruises with his wife Ruby and youngest daughter Victoria. He has a passion for reading and an appetite to learn new things. In sports, he is an avid fan of the New York Yankees and New York Giants.

He is the loving husband of Rovilla, a cherished father of Linette Michelle, Victoria Mary; step-father of RJ, Vilson, Tonya and Alex, a dear brother of Philip Ashforth and Barrie Copp; a proud grandfather of Shane Alexander and David Michael; a great grandfather of Noah and Luke.

Memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 8 from 9:30 a.m to 10:30 a.m. at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church, 220 E Blancke St. Linden, NJ, followed by memorial mass at 10:30 a.m. Inurnment will take place at Mount Hebron, Montclair, NJ.
