Aurora Labitag Luna

Aurora Labitag Luna, 92, of Highland Falls, New York, has joined our Lord, on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at the Montefiore Hospital in Bronx, New York.

She was born on February 6, 1930 in San Miguel, Leyte, Philippines to the late Ciriaco B. Labitag and Marcela D. Caneda.

Nanay Aurora, lived a beautiful and blessed life with her family. She will forever be smiling and dancing in our hearts, and her smiles, kindness and love will always be with us. Nanay is loved and will always be loved by her family.

Aurora is the beloved wife of the late Bienvenido Luna; a cherished mother of Marietta Luna Cajara, Bernardita Luna Osterhoudt and husband Louis Osterhoudt, Raul Luna and wife Teresita Luna, Luz Luna Espos and husband Cirio Oscar Espos, Hope Luna Bernardes, and Estrella Luna Montilla and husband Raul Montilla; a dear sister of Ciriaco Labitag, Jr. and sister in law of Evelyn Acerden Labitag; a proud and loving grandmother of Christine, Rafel Jane, Marian, Aurora, Raulito, Kit Adrian, Hiyas, Chi, Faith Frances, Marianne Gail, Katrina Joy, Alvin, Nikko, and Nash; and a great grandmother to Jane Bernadette, Gabriel, Yanna, Yanix, Ryder, Mithi, and Jett Pio; and many nephews, nieces, relatives and dear friends.

Funeral service will take place at St. Peter Chapel, Tacloban City, Philippines. Interment will be at Leyte Memorial Park, Nula Tula, Tacloban City at a later date.
