Aurora Lomibao Deogracias

Aurora Lomibao Deogracias, 91 of Jersey City, New Jersey has joined our Lord on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Peace Care St. Joseph’s in Jersey City. 

She was born on December 27, 1931 in Metro Manila, Philippines to the late Jose Lomibao and Ramona Antonio. She graduated at University of Santo Tomas with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. Aurora will be fondly remembered by all those who came to know her. She was a Mama, Lola, Auntie and Auring. People came to know her as a woman of devout faith.

It is through her that her family learned the meaning of strength, resilience and kindness. Being a generous woman, she helped out so many people during her lifetime and helped support her family. Most of all, she loved her family and friends and instilled good values in her children and grandchildren that have served them well. 

Aurora is the beloved wife of the late Agripino Deogracias; a cherished mother of Purisima Austria (Gil), Pedro Deogracias and Gay Biteng (Keithley). A dear sister of Andoy Lomibao, Braulio Lomibao, Manuel Lomibao, Annie Bautista, Soledad Dris, Graciana Santos and the late Sofronio Lomibao, Genoveva Dris, Mercedes Manuel and Teofilo Lomibao; a proud and loving grandmother of Precious Wimmer, Manuel Austria, Christopher Austria (Alison), Xavier Biteng, Ina Biteng, Badu Biteng, Pigar Biteng, and her grandpet, Stitch.

Our loving and devoted Aurora lived a full life as a wonderful mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts. We would like her celebration of life to be full of love and prayers, as she was, so that we may extend the life of our memory of her altogether.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 23, from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. followed by a funeral mass at 7:15 p.m.  at St. Nicholas Church, 122 Ferry St., Jersey City, NJ 07307. 

Additional Funeral Services will take place in Metro Manila, Philippines under the professional care of Zuasola Funeral Homes, Philippines. Interment will be at Manila South Cemetery at a late date.
