Angel Galam Roderos

In His own way, and for His own purpose, a few days ago God, our Father, called Angel Galam Roderos to be with Him throughout eternity. It is with great sadness that the family announces his passing on May 9, 2023, at the age of 88. He was born on October 2, 1934, to Juan and Bernarda Roderos in Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines. He was preceded in death by his parents, his two siblings and late wife, Soledad Dalodao Roderos from his first marriage on September 22, 1962. To this union, three children were born. He is survived by his current wife, Angelita Rayray Roderos whom he married on January 6, 1985. He is also survived by his sister Juanita Roderos.

Angel will be lovingly remembered by his wife Angelita Roderos, 79 years old, his children Sybil & Teddy Hernandez,  Allen & Nerissa  Roderos, Cyril, and Eileen Roderos. Papa Heling or Papa Lolo leaves a legacy of love in his seven (7) grandchildren: Marc Angelo, Sean Derrick, Adrianne, Aldrin and wife Nathalie, Jan Ranizen, Jan Kylee, one (1) great-grandson  Aldrix Liam and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Angel is a man of few words, with a compassionate and generous heart. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, great grandfather, brother-in law and friend.

A funeral service in memory of Angel will be held on Monday, May 15, 2023, at 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm  at the Zuasola Funeral Homes, 44 Bay Ave., Bloomfield, New Jersey 07003 (Addtitional parking located along Broughton Ave.) with Pastor Johnathan Salegumba, as officiating minister. His remains will be cremated at Rosedale Crematory privately.
