On December 23, 2020, Alicia Puertollano Carugda got her wings and walk with the angels Holy Name Hospital, Teaneck. She was 78 years old.

Born October 16, 1942 in Zarraga, Iloilo City, Philippines to the late Dominador Puertollano and Carlota Celiz. She was a businesswoman for 50 years before retiring in 2008. She was a member of Sta. Teresita Church in the Philippines.

Alicia is survived by her husband Bonifacio Carugda, daughter; Ma. Lourdes Carlota Charlotte Carugda, sons; Joe Dominic Carl Carugda and Ceasar Bacson Carugda, brothers and sisters; Belen Puertollano, Corazon Favila, Fe Querubin, Gilda De La Cruz, Henric Puertollano, Isagani Puertollano, Joy Puertollano, Ken Puertollano, Leo Puertollano, Methelyn Puertollano and Neil Puertollano, and grandchild; Andres Carlo Carugda.

Cremation will be private.
