Alberto Fernandes Delos Santos

Alberto Fernandes Delos Santos, a proud veteran of the Vietnam War and longtime resident of Belleville, New Jersey passed away on October 21, 2023. Bert, as he was known to many, was born February 2, 1938 to Delfin Delos Santos and Modesta Fernandes in Olongapo City, Zambales, Philippines.

Alberto attended high school before enlisting for the US Navy.  He valued this service highly and attained the rank of Postal Clerk 1.

He is survived by his wife, Mercedes De Leon; children, Ana Rose Cenit (husband: Ping Cenit), Rita Morales (husband: Ivan David Morales Jr.), Jtadeo Delos Santos (wife: Sherry Ann Garcia) and Isabel Delos Santos (husband: Richard Valencia); siblings, David Delos Santos, Jovita Delemios, Benjamin Delos Santos and Cesar Delos Santos; grandchildren, Zachary (wife: Meleeza Marie), Joshua, Nathan, Gabriel, Kalina, Matthew, Alexandra, Sebastian, Joana, Andrei, Haley and Dwayne; great granddaughter, Zara Marie Elyse.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Zuasola Funeral Homes of New Jersey, LLC - 44 Bay Ave., Bloomfield, NJ 07003. (Additional parking along Broughton Avenue)

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the Prayer Service on Thursday, November 2, 2023, 8:00 am at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at BG William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery - 350 Province Line Rd, Wrightstown, NJ 08562
