Alan Guevarra Goyoco, beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, passed away on September 4, 2022 at his home with his loving family by his side. A resident of Belleville, New Jersey. Alan was born in Cantilan, Surigao del Sur, Philippines on June 23, 1949 to Nazario Goyoco Sr. of Tinambakan, Samar, Leyte and Marciana Guevarra of Cantilan, Surigao del Sur Philippines.
Alan attended Southwestern University in Cebu where he received his Bachelor of Science in Commerce. He migrated to the United States in 1991 and worked for the United States Postal Service as a mail handler before retiring in 2010. He was a parishioner of St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church in Belleville.
Alan is the beloved husband of Maria Lopez; a loving father of Jose Marie Goyoco (Coralie), Darwin Goyoco (Maynie), Ryan Goyoco (Zenia), Paolo Janssen Goyoco (Michelle), Katrina Abellanosa (Frances Louie), Lani Tabat (Aljohn), Kevin Goyoco and Michael Goyoco; a dear brother of Zayda Francia, Zorayda Oliver, Zorahayda Goyoco, Philip Goyoco, Rio Rita Hinlo, Rosie Goyoco, Helen Camahig and the late Nazario Goyaco,Jr.; and a proud grandfather of Amelia, Patricia Grace, Karole Tatiana, Giorgia Gabriela, Anthony, Romeo, Blue, Savannah, Lucia, Catheona and Cibrina. He will surely be missed by his relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Zuasola Funeral Homes of New Jersey, LLC. 44 Bay Avenue Bloomfield, New Jersey 07003. (Additional parking located along Broughton Avenue)
All are invited to meet at the Funeral Home at 9:00 a.m. for Funeral Mass on Friday, September 9, 2022, 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 155 William St. Belleville, NJ. Followed by cremation at Rosedale Crematory, 408 Orange Road, Montclair, NJ.
